This is a pattern for an Edwardian Plunge front corset circa 1905. It is designed to be made with a front busk closure. It features a rather dramatic neckline, as was fashionable in the Edwardian period. If more modestly is desired a piece of lace or mesh can be fitted into that space.

The pattern comes in A0 format which can be used with a projector or printed at your local print shop as well as A4 and US Letter version which you can print at home

We suggest making this out of a stiff woven fabric. We have done test versions with suit wool, silk, and cotton with cotton lining. For boning you can use cable ties, spring steal, or plastic boning. The boning channels shown on the pattern are an initial suggestion. For larger busted models more channels will be needed and should be drawn in. A mockup is strongly suggested.

This pattern is designed for at least an intermediate sewist.
